HILL AIR FORCE BASE Four airmen from Hill Air Force Base who were killed in the line of duty last year will be honored during a memorial dedication ceremony where Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, will speak at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Honored are Tech. Sgt. Ryan A. Balmer, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 113; Tech. Sgt. Timothy R. Weiner; Senior Airman Elizabeth A. Lonki and Senior Airman Daniel B. Miller Jr., all of the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron.
The new Hill AFB Memorial Park will be dedicated, and a memorial plaque with the names of those honored will be unveiled.
Maj. Gen. Kathleen Close, Ogden Air Logistics Center commander, will officiate. The 30-minute ceremony is open to anyone who has access to the base and invited community members.
