I was disappointed to see the headline for the article by Bob Bernick Jr. on May 22. The headline "Race tight between Chaffetz and Cannon" is misleading. The Dan Jones poll shows a 15 point margin among Republicans who are likely to vote in a closed primary. Even when you consider that some Independents will vote at the closed primary and the margin of error, the poll does not support the headline.
It seems to be the habit of news organizations to use headlines that grab the attention of their readers at the expense of misleading them.
