WEST VALLEY CITY Police here were looking for three suspects involved in an early morning stabbing and robbery.
A 16-year-old boy was walking near 4100 South and 6000 West about 2:15 a.m. today when a car with three men pulled up next to him and two got out, said West Valley Police Capt. Tom McLachlan.
The men demanded the boy's necklace and wallet but he refused to give it to them, McLachlan said. The two suspects attacked the boy and stabbed him four or five times with a small knife, he said. The victim gave up his wallet and necklace at that point and the trio drove off.
The boy continued walking home where his parents called police. The boy was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
