Fundraiser for China quake victims today

The state's Chinese community is kicking off a fundraising drive this week in the wake of an earthquake that killed nearly 15,000 people in China.

An event will be held today from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Orson Spencer Hall on the University of Utah campus. Donations will be accepted at the event, which will feature music, speeches, video clips and slide presentations.
