• BYU Museum of Art's Biennial Art, Belief, Meaning Symposium, 2008 announces a call for papers. Submit a one- to two-page proposal, double-spaced, on "Picturing the Divine." The symposium will be held Friday, Nov. 7, at the BYU Museum of Art Auditorium. Artist Brian Kershisnik will be the invited speaker. Deadline for proposal submission is Sept. 30. • The Golden Spike Art Show & Sale in Corinne announces a call for entries. The art show, which will be held in conjunction with the historical pageant, "Corinne the Gentile City," will have a historical theme: "Northern Utah 1825-1925." There will be an adult division and a student division, ages 14-18. The show will run June 27 and 28. Deadline for entries is June 1.
