Raser Technologies posts loss for quarter

Raser Technologies Inc. on Tuesday reported a net loss applicable to common stockholders of $5.4 million, or 10 cents per share, for the quarter ended March 31. That compares with a loss of $4.6 million, or 9 cents per share, for the 2007 first quarter.

Revenue totaled $130,543, up from $123,763 in the prior-year quarter.

The technology licensing and development company's stock fell 65 cents Tuesday to close at $9.60. During the past year, the price has ranged from $5.14 to $18.44.
