OREM — Kathy Najimy, actress and activist, will keynote this year's Human Rights Campaign annual Gala Dinner in Orem. The event will be June 14.

The event, themed "We are Family — Unity!" serves as a fundraiser for the national gay rights advocacy group. It will also honor Jane Marquardt and Gastronomy Inc. with Equality Awards.

Najimy plays Millie Finch on the NBC drama "Numb3rs" and has been the voice of Peg Hill for 12 seasons on "King of the Hill." She was named Ms. Magazine's Woman of the Year in 2005.

The event is co-hosted by Bruce Bastian and the Federal Club. Tickets are $175 per person, or $300 for VIP passes. For more information visit www.hrcutah.org.
