On Thursday, Art Access Gallery, 230 S. 500 West, will host its sixth annual "300 Plates" fundraiser and exhibition.

Each of the 300 recycled printer's plates, used as a canvas by artists, measures 11 by 10 inches.

Incorporating their own style and medium, the 82 invited Utah artists have created individual and unique works of art. Plate prices will start at $65 and increase sequentially in $1 increments. (A small selection of plates will be retained for a silent auction.)

Plate preview, bidding and silent auction will take place throughout the day, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 9 p.m. For exact times, contact the gallery at 328-0703.

On Friday, an exhibition of the plates begins with a reception from 6-9 p.m. during the monthly Gallery Stroll. The exhibit will hang through June 13.
