Obituary: LITTLEDIKE, CAROLYN STEVENS

Carolyn Stevens Littledike1937 ~ 2012Carolyn Stevens Littledike, 74, passed away on Feb 7, 2012 due to complications associated with cancer treatment. She was born October 8, 1937 in Trenton, Utah to David Garn Stevens and Ethel Allred Stevens. Carolyn married Dr. Ernest Travis Littledike on September 10, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She was an accomplished musician and sang in the Mormon Choir of Washington D.C. and the Sweet Adelines. Her love of learning and service will be remembered by her family and friends. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Travis, her four daughters, Laurie (Roger) McBride of Jordan Minnesota, Leslie (Brent) Hawkins of West Jordan, Utah, Leah(Kevin) Thompson of Preston, Idaho, Melissa (Kanona) Felt of Carlsbad, New Mexico, 18 living grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and her two brothers, Murray (Penny) Stevens of Midvale, Utah and Dale (Maria) Stevens of Eatonville, Washington. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Center at 1007 West South Jordan Parkway in South Jordan, Utah. An additional viewing will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Cougar Lane LDS Chapel, 4825 W. 7000 S. in West Jordan, with funeral services to follow in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held following the service at the Smithfield Utah Cemetery.
