Syracuse was money at the charity stripe connecting on 12-of-14 freebies that ultimately proved to be the difference in a closely contested affair. Diante Mitchell tallied the double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds in the win.

Northridge stunned Weber on its home court as Preston Christensen laid the ball in at the buzzer to give the Knights the narrow victory. Christensen finished the game with 16 points while his teammate Karson Casteel poured in a game high 23.
