The Leonardo, 209 E. 500 South, will host drawing classes with artist Jann Haworth. Classes will be held Wednesdays, Feb. 1-April 5, with a children's class at 4 p.m., and an adult class at 5 p.m. Registration is $100 for the general public and $80 for members of the Leonardo. Utah Arts and Museums is now accepting online applications for arts education grants for the 2012-2013 school year. Submissions are due March 1 by 5 p.m. Visit artsandmuseums.utah.gov or call 801-236-7555 for additional information.

Midway Art Association will host "MAA Open Studio" Saturday mornings, 8:30 a.m.-noon, at the Midway Town Hall, 160 W. Main, Midway. Artists are invited to bring their own materials to work from a model or still life. Membership is not required. Park City Film Music Festival is calling for entries for its annual festival. Documentaries, music documentaries, narrative feature, short and performance films are welcome. Great Salt Lake Bird Festival is calling for submissions for its student art contest. All Utah students from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to submit an original drawing or painting in color of a Black-crowned Night Heron. Entries must be hand delivered or postmarked by April 6 to Davis County Memorial Courthouse, 28 E. State, Farmington.
