Republican presidential candidates businessman Herman Cain speaks as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich listens during a Republican presidential debate in Washington, Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011.
Evan Vucci, Associated Press
Herman Cain left the candidate pool because of shadowy accusations, and yet Newt Gingrich is claiming to be the Republican lifeguard, with his substantial record of adultery, divorce and ethics reprimands? This is the John McCain syndrome all over again. I hope that we will have someone conservative, decent and honest to vote for. Is that too much to ask?

Apparently, Cynthia, it is too much to ask. It was a disgraceful spectacle for McCain to parade around as the candidate of the "family values party"; it's downright nauseating to watch Gingrich rising up to play the same role. Is the More..
Excuse me, but you had someone like that with Jon Huntsman Jr. --
but you guys threw him under the bus.
How about you give it another go in 2016
Complain to your GOP! They're the ones deciding this.
For once, the repubs can't blame their horrible candidates on the liberal media. The repubs are digging their own graves here. They're the ones giving Newt new life.
