20 years ago: Mailman tops Jazz scoring record

Karl Malone became the Jazz's all-time scoring leader, surpassing Adrian Dantley's franchise-record 13,545 points in a 108-80 win over the Houston Rockets. The record-breaking basket came on a pass from John Stockton. Malone needed 22 points against the Rockets to get the record. He ended the game with 34, making his total 13,558.
