Nancylee Margaret Prendergast Dorff2/13/1930 ~ 12/10/2011Nancylee Margaret Prendergast Dorff, the daughter of Anna Florence Roche and Leo Francis Prendergast, was born on February 13, 1930, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and passed away in Orem, Utah, on December 10, 2011. She married Ervin K. Dorff on August 13, 1955, at St. Ursula's Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Erv passed away four months ago.Nancylee is survived by her 3 children, David (Andi), Indianapolis, IN; Trisha (Daniel Heuberger), New York, NY; and Michael (Sarah), Provo, UT; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, one of whom preceded her in death. Nancylee graduated from West Chester State Teacher's College, Pennsylvania, in 1952. She taught school and coached the high school girl's basketball team to a state championship before marrying Erv. After living a few years in Minnesota, where she did the local weather on television, they moved their family to Palos Verdes, California, where she modeled and taught classes in the elementary schools. In the 1970s she began a tutoring service for K-12 students. The Nancylee Dorff Tutoring Service worked with over 5,000 students during a 25-year period. In 1977 she converted to the LDS faith, and in 2004 she moved to Provo, Utah. Nancylee enjoyed life, Ireland, teaching, her church, people, and especially her grandchildren. The memorial service for Nancylee Dorff will be Monday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edgemont 4th Ward Chapel, 4100 N Timpview Drive, Provo, Utah.
