SALT LAKE CITY — More than three dozen new records or image collections have been added to FamilySearch.org for eight countries, including Canada, Estonia, Jamaica, Mexico, Russia, South Korea and Sweden and 14 U.S. states, including Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, Washington State and Wisconsin.
Most of the images are for collections from Mexico, which include more than 3.8 million for "Mexico, Oaxaca, Civil Registration, 1861-2002"; 1.5 million for "Mexico, Guerrero, Civil Registration, 1833-1996"; nearly 1.6 million for "Mexico, Hidalgo, Civil Registration, 1861-1967"; nearly 1.2 million for "Mexico, Tamaulipas, Civil Registration, 1800-2002"; 1.6 million for "Mexico, Veracruz, Civil Registration, 1821-1949"; and 1.2 million images from "Mexico, Yucatán, Civil Registration, 1860-1926."
