PROVO — Steve Call, a professor in the BYU School of Music, will be joined by members of his jazz band, The New Hot 5, in a New Orleans-style Christmas concert on Friday, Dec. 16, at the Covey Center at 7:30 p.m.
Call is known for his video "Jazz for Cows," which has more than 3.5 million views on YouTube. The video has been featured on the "Today" show, "Good Morning America," Jay Leno, and Conan O'Brien.
Joining Call are Joshua Payne, Mark Ammons, Austie Robinson and Jory Woodis. Music will include holiday favorites played in swing and Dixieland styles.
