SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Symphony and Assistant Conductor Vladimir Kulenovic will accompany the daredevils of Cirque de la Symphonie as they return to Utah for a holiday celebration performance.
"Holiday Celebration with Cirque de la Symphonie" will feature the troupe of contortionists, acrobats, aerial flyers, dancers, jugglers, balancers and strongmen performing to a set of symphonic holiday music favorites on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at Abravanel Hall.
Musical selections will include Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" and "A Christmas Festival," along with excerpts from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" as well as Rimsky-Korsakov's "Snow Maiden" and John Williams' original "Harry Potter" film score.
Tickets for the evening performances range from $27 to $58.
