Terrie Enan Rasmussen1956 ~ 2011Terrie Enan Rasmussen, 55, our beloved and fun loving wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully at her home December 4, 2011. She filled so many roles in our lives it is difficult to list them all.She was born January 20, 1956 in Salt Lake City, UT to Darrell and Patricia Enan Miller Nelson. On July 8, 1977 married her best friend, Cory Sinclair Rasmussen and they were seldom apart for over 34 years.Terrie will forever be remembered for her spunk, enthusiasm, charisma, wit and especially her love. She was an incredible mom who loved her three children and adored her four grandchildren. They were ALWAYS her number one priority and made her world. Terrie may have been little but she could be feisty. She was a great cook and chocoholic. She enjoyed boating, Lake Powell, swimming, 4-wheeling, snow skiing, quilting, knitting, reading, cooking, taking long walks and riding on the Harley. Terrie loved going to lunch with all whom she loved. She always wanted to escape to somewhere warm. Last, but not least, she loved shopping.She graduated from Cottonwood High School and attended the University of Utah. Terrie was awarded "first place" in the Dale Carnegie Leadership and Public Speaking School. She is a member of the LDS church where she made an impact on many lives.Survived by: Husband Cory S. Rasmussen, Sandy, UT. Children, Jacy (Scott) Mortensen, Riverton, UT, Adam, Phoenix, AZ, Rob, Eagle Mountain, UT. Grandchildren, Cayden, Taylor, Cory Jack and Elizabeth (Ellie). Parents: Darrell and Patricia E. Miller Nelson, Brothers: Greg (Connie) Nelson, Casper, WY, Mark (Jessica) Nelson, Phoenix, AZ. Gordon (Joane) Nelson, Sandy, UT. Sisters: Cindy (Randy) Scott, West Jordan, UT. Lorrie (Bennett) Madsen, West Jordan, UT.Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Noon at the Oak Grove Ward House, 11570 South Wasatch Blvd. Sandy, UT.
