Leo Grimsley1940 ~ 2011Leo Grimsley, age 71 passed away from a stroke on November 21, 2011. He was born on January 8, 1940 in Grantsville, Utah to Verne and Amelia Grimsley. He graduated from West High School in 1958. He served his nation honorably in the U.S. Army for eight years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was married to Sandra Dehmel on June 7, 1969 and they were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple in 1979. He served in many callings including two Church-service missions in the Salt Lake Inner City and Family History Missions. Through his career in power line construction, he and his family had the opportunity to live in many states around the country until he retired in 2003.Leo is survived by his wife Sandra and his dog Lady, four children; Laura (Tony) Kelsey, Steven (Kelly) Grimsley, Rebecca (Mike) Walker, and Adam (Janet) Grimsley; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by three brothers, Nick, Roger, and Allen. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church on 3555 W. 5620 S, where friends may call prior to the service from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Also, a viewing will be held at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S.
