WEST VALLEY CITY — The Las Vegas Wranglers broke a third period tie and beat the Utah Grizzlies 5-3 Saturday night at Maverik Center.
Again, working through injuries and call-ups, Utah dressed just 14 of 16 eligible skaters, while Matt Sorteberg moved up front and played on the team's No. 2 forward line with Bryan Cameron and Logan MacMillan.
The Grizzlies recorded two early goals from Paul McIlveen to build a 2-0 lead 8:26 into the game.
