Playing in the final regular season game of his career, Ty Detmer completed 18 of 29 passes for 378 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions, and ran for another touchdown before retiring to the sideline with still 10:39 left in the game in a 48-17 rout of Utah. He was sacked only twice all afternoon, while escaping several other close calls.
