Janice Hayden Booth"Sweetheart"Janice Hayden Booth, 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend returned home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 after a courageous fight with Alzheimer's.She was born on Mother's Day, May 10, 1925 in Murray, Utah to Mitchell and Lottie Hayden. She married the love of her life, Fred R. Booth, on Oct. 2, 1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They recently celebrated their 64th anniversary together. Janice was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her church and her family were her life. She served as a primary chorister for many years, sharing her joy of music with the children whom she loved. Janice loved music, and since the age of three could play the piano by ear. No family gathering was complete without her playing and the family singing along. She couldn't pass a piano without stopping to play. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Fred; children, Fred H. (Vicki), Brenda (Craig), and Mark (Debbie). Another daughter, Sharon, preceded her in death. Also survived by two brothers, Mitchell and Reed Hayden; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 12 Noon at the LDS Church located at 6300 S. 700 W., Murray, Utah. Viewings will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Murray, Utah and from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church on Saturday prior to services.
