SALT LAKE CITY — Cities and town throughout Utah elected council members Tuesday. A few municipalities also elected mayors or voted on special questions, and voters in two school districts also decided long-term financing questions. Following are unofficial results from many of those areas.

Thirty-eight cities and towns did not have to hold council elections because the number of filed candidates was not more than the number of council seats available.

Incumbents are designated with an (i).
