EXPLORING JEWISH MYTHS AND MYSTERIES

SALT LAKE CITY — Rabbi Benny Zippel of Chabad Lubavitch of Utah will conduct a six-session course on "Fascinating Facts: Exploring the Myths and Mysteries of Judaism." The course includes sessions on Jewish myth and urban legend, biblical stories and events, Jewish foods, the Hebrew language, life cycle events and mysteries of the occult. The course will be held Mondays, Nov. 7-Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Chabad, 1760 S. 1100 East in Salt Lake City. There is a fee for the class. Pre-registration is mandatory. SERMON WILL TEACH 'YOU ARE THE GLORY'

OREM — Orem Community Church Pastor Kevin Miller will be preaching that "You are the Glory" during services on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School is available for youth and children. SERMONS TO FOCUS ON JESUS, COMMANDMENTS

CENTERVILLE — The Bridge Community has begun a series of sermons that explain how Jesus transforms the 10 Commandments. Services are Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Davis Center for the Performing Arts (525 N. 400 West in Centerville). There is a program for children to age 12. PASTOR WILL DISCUSS 'WHY ARE WE HERE?'

BRIGHAM CITY — Pastor Steve Barsuhn will be addressing the question, "Why Are We Here?" Sunday, Oct. 30, during the 10:30 a.m. worship service at Rocky Mountain Bible Church. Based on 1 Peter 4:1-6, this message explores how believers are to live as a result of their relationship to Christ. Sunday school is held at 9:30, and will feature study of the book of Philippians.
