PROVO — BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall and players addressed the media this morning as they prepare to meet TCU at Cowboys Stadium this Friday. The team's confidence is high after five straight wins, although they're well aware of the challenging matchup TCU presents.

The Horned Frogs have had BYU's number over the past three years, defeating the Cougars handily on each occasion. Mendenhall and the players addressed why the Cougars haven't fared well against TCU in recent years, among other things.

TCU's overall team speed is the one aspect that will increase dramatically over what the Cougars faced last Saturday against Idaho State. Mendenhall is keenly aware of TCU's team speed, and likens it to what BYU faced against Ole Miss and Texas.

Starting center Terence Brown talked about what the offense can do in order to find success against the Horned Frogs, while starting free safety Travis Uale discussed how much this particular game means to him and to the rest of the team.

BYU will take on TCU this coming Friday at 6pm MST.
