Ralph Richard Barth1930 ~ 2011Ralph Richard Barth, 81 years, passed away September 27, 2011. Born in Salt Lake City, February 28, 1930 to Richard Linus Barth and Hildegard Gertrud Esche Barth.After graduating from South High, he joined the Marine Corp and served for four years. He attended the U of U where he met his future wife, Dorothy Carolyn Killpack. They were married October 8, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. They served four missions for the LDS Church; Buenas Aires Argentina North/ Texas Fort Worth, Temple in Santiago, Chile, a service mission in Rushkin, Florida and an Inner City mission in Salt Lake City.Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Jess Broadhead, and a son-in-law Rod W Leatham. He is survived by his wife of 57 years and five children: David Barth, Becky Broadhead (Dan), Mary Leatham, Michael Barth (Matty) and Jonathan Barth (Linda). They have 18 grandchildren and a great grandson. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard Barth (Claudia), and Delmar Barth (Marge), and sisters Mildred Stout, (David) and Ingrid Stephenson (Michael). Services to be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Millcreek 7th Ward, 3408 S. Celeste Way (3075 E), where a viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM prior to the service.
