On second thought...

Several Utah cities held primary elections this week. A good scavenger hunt item would be to find someone who actually voted.

Turnout was less than 10 percent overall. Maybe future ballots should throw in some item of general interest to attract more voters, like choosing your favorite on Dancing With the Stars.

But then we might end up with Hines Ward as the mayor of Ogden.

President Obama has a jobs bill that raises taxes on the rich. This is, of course, because the nation won't truly be better off until everyone is poor.

His proposal would pile on even more government spending. But not to worry, members of the deficit "supercommittee" can handle that easily, somewhere between lunch and their afternoon cookie break.

Al-Qaida's new leader issued a scary new video message to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11. He issued this on 9/13. Osama bin Laden's death may have thrown off their timing a bit.

The al-Qaida leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, said the Arab Spring has been a "devastating blow" to the United States. Silly us. We send our bombers to help Libyan rebels deliver a "devastating blow" to ourselves. Next thing you know, we'll sabotage our own credit rating ... oh, wait.

The president has started a web-site aimed at answering his critics. It has been made the butt of many funny and effective jokes by, you guessed it, his critics. Great strategy. It's kind of like Don King starting a site to answer people who attack his hairstyle.

One critic tweeted: "I'm still using REAL LIGHT BULBS. Come get me!" The hated light bulb law actually was signed by George W. Bush. The beauty of being thin-skinned is you start getting blamed for things you didn't do, just for the fun of seeing how you will react.

So, Mr. President, when are you going to explain why you botched the Bay of Pigs invasion? How 'bout that Teapot Dome scandal?
