It appears to me from the photos that is was the American Cancer Society that held the press conference and was "tooting the horn" and not The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Katie Eccles is with the American Cancer Society, not the LDS Church. The banners say ACS, not LDS. David Burton, who oversees this type of thing for the LDS Church was not even at the ceremony. Seems to me you need to brush up More..
