It has now been three weeks since UTA made changes to its bus and TRAX systems. I am not any more pleased today than the first day. My commute time is longer, there are fewer times available, good connections are almost nonexistent and strategic benches are hard to find. It is a real trial to have to change modes of transportation as many as three times each way, which can make my commute as long as 1 hour and 30 minutes each way.
It is irritating that UTA can dictate the hours I have to work because of poor service. I know I am not the only unhappy rider; there are many. Those who ride the TRAX may be happier; however, there are still many of us who cannot, and we are the ones who suffer most.
