Beth Mower Pearmain Walters 1921 ~ 2011

Our beautiful Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother passed to the other side on the evening of July 31, 2011 in Salt Lake City Utah.Beth was born April 22, 1921, in Fairview Utah to Orson and Glendora Mower. She was raised in Fairview with her loving parents and three older brothers Lyle, Earl and Lenard. Beth married Arthur Pearmain in July 1938, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple February 1946. Together they raised six children. Arthur passed away Nov. 1971. Beth was an active member of the LDS church and held positions in both the Primary and Relief Society. A wonderful seamstress, Beth made many items of clothing and quilts including several wedding dresses. Her pride and that of her family were the beautiful christening dresses that we all will cherish. She loved to travel and was proud to have had the opportunity for a few short years to travel to almost every one of the 50 states including Hawaii and even to Europe. Beth was the caregiver. She lovingly cared for her mother, and Arthur for five years before his death and also cared for her second husband Harvey Walters whom she married in 1976. Harvey died 2001. She was very full of life, and an independent woman. She loved to take care of her home and yard as long as she was able. Enjoying camping, boating, even riding 4 wheelers at the Mower Family Reunions she loved to attend so much with her brothers and their families. She took such joy in fixing Christmas morning breakfast for the entire family every year for at least 50 years. Mom was truly the sunshine of our family; the bond that held us together. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to give her a wonderful 90th Birthday Party just three months ago. She will be missed more than words can express. Survivors: one brother Lenard Mower; sons Rex A. (Irene), Edward E. (Patty), Glenn W. (Kathy) and Jeffery C.
