Elder Holland's powerful new Mormon Message on pornography cautions men to 'Watch Your Step'

The LDS Church has released through its Mormon Messages a compelling video called "Watch Your Step."

The two-minute and 39-second video features the words of Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and video images contrasting the consequences of a man's choice to view pornography — or not. Citing the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi's declaration to "give place no more for the enemy of my soul," Elder Holland promises viewers of the video that gospel light "can and will shine brightly where you feared life had gone hopelessly, helplessly dark" as people work to "keep our love and our marriages, our society and our souls, as pure as they were meant to be."

When I was a boy in the 60's & 70's my father placed porn in my bedroom. Relatives had porn available and with my cousins we were exposed to this filth. I learned as a child porn warps the mind and changes reality. It nearly destroyed my life.
