BILLINGS, Mont. — Billings first baseman Robert Maddox hit a walk-off two-run home run with two outs in the 10th inning to give the Mustangs a 10-8 win over the Orem Owlz on Wednesday evening. Maddox was 4-for-6 on the night, scoring once and recording four RBIs.
Orem plated five runs in the eighth inning, rallying to tie the score after the Mustangs' five-run sixth. Owlz designated hitter and former Ute C.J. Cron hit a three-run homer in the eighth and finished the game 2-for-5 at the plate.
Billings left fielder Juan Silva was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate, hitting a home run and driving in three runs.
