FARMINGTON — A park in Utah's Davis County is going to the dogs.
County officials were opening the new off-leash dog park Wednesday at the south end of the county events center in Farmington.
Davis County Fair coordinator Megan Hatch tells the Standard-Examiner of Ogden that the Legacy Events Center is a first for Davis County, and a natural fit for the center grounds.
She says the area isn't just an equestrian park and indoor horse arena.
The 20,000-square-foot dog park will be open from dawn to dusk.
It has separate fenced areas for small and large dogs.
Dogs under 6 months aren't allowed.
