Pioneer League: Owlz spooked by Ghosts; Raptors edge Chukars

CASPER, Wyo. — Baudilio Jose Lopez (0-3) struggled on the mound for Orem, giving up six hits and four earned runs while striking out five Ghost batters.

Charles Hall went 2-for-4 at bat, slugging a home run with an RBI. Jarrod Parks also had a home run and an RBI for the Owlz, who came up just shy in a 5-4 road loss.

RAPTORS 3, CHUKARS 2: At Idaho Falls, Andrew Edge got the bats going in the top of the fifth inning, smacking a double to drive in the first run for Ogden. Scott Woodward stepped up to the plate next and slugged his first home run of the season to put Ogden up 3-2. Edge finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, while Woodward finished 1-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Raydel Sanchez pitched the win on the mound (2-0) striking out six Idaho Falls batters.
