OGDEN — Gustavo Gomez pitched six solid innings, striking out eight Casper batters while only giving up three earned runs to lead the Raptors to the lopsided 11-5 win at home.
Matthew Kirkland went 2-for-5 with a double and also had four RBIs on the day, while Andrew Edge slugged a double and finished with two RBIs.
Ogden rallied for seven runs in the first four innings, and were able to turn things around after losing three straight.
OWLZ 6, CHUKARS 3: Jerod Yakubik went 2-for-5 and finished with three RBIs, while Jarrod Parks went 3-for-3 at bat to help the Owlz pick up the road win.
Orem trailed 2-1 early in the game but was able to score three straight to break open the game down the stretch.
