SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Los Angeles forward Mike Magee played the final 47 minutes in goal and the Galaxy survived the loss of their two goalkeepers to tie the San Jose Earthquakes 0-0 on Saturday.
Magee, a nine-year veteran making his 185th MLS appearances, took over in goal after backup goalkeeper Josh Saunders was ejected.

DYNAMO 2, D.C. UNITED 2, TIE: At Washington, Brian Ching scored on a header in the 89th minute to give Houston a tie with D.C. United.
Charlie Davies put D.C. United ahead in the 73rd minute with his eighth goal of the season.
Chris Pontius gave United (4-5-6) the lead in the 31st minute, and Houston (4-6-7) tied it 10 minutes later after Bill Hamid tripped Ching in the area, and Brad Davis converted on the ensuing penalty.
