LOS ANGELES — ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher is reporting that former Utah basketball coach Jim Boylen is being added to the coaching staff of the Los Angeles Lakers. New head coach Mike Brown plans to add Boylen to a crew that would include assistants John Kuester and Chuck Person, as well as behind-the-bench advisors Ettore Messina and Quin Snyder. Boylen's undisclosed salary would ease or eliminate the three-year, $2 million buyout he was due to receive from Utah after being fired in March.

Good news for the Jazz. He can screw up the Lakers like he did the Utes.
Good news for the Utes, hopefully he is getting paid near what he was making at the U so the U doesn't have to pay as much on his contract buyout.
Also good news for Boylen, I hope he rebounds from his years at Utah and finds success
Way to go coach. Good luck in your new persuit.
