SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz announced Thursday that forward Jeremy Evans will take part in this summer's annual Junior Jazz road trip, a barnstorming tour in which he will conduct 42 basketball clinics covering 4,000 miles across four states over three weeks between June 6-22. This will mark the second straight season Evans has participated in the Junior Jazz road trip.
"The Junior Jazz road trip has become an important annual tradition that allows us to reach out to the numerous Jazz fans in communities throughout the Intermountain Region," said Jazz president Randy Rigby. "We are excited that Jeremy had such a positive experience last year that he has chosen to participate once again."
The 2011 edition of the Junior Jazz road trip marks the 27th year the Jazz have conducted the events, which feature Jazz players running hour-long basketball clinics for kids in participating Junior Jazz towns across Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming. Following the clinics, Evans will sign autographs and pose for pictures. Former Jazz greats Karl Malone and John Stockton, in addition to current Jazzmen Kyrylo Fesenko and C.J. Miles, are among the many Jazz players to have participated in the Junior Jazz trips over the years. The Junior Jazz program is the largest and longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA and the Jazz is the only team in the NBA to conduct a summer tour.
The initial week (June 6-11) will feature Evans running Junior Jazz clinics in 16 cities in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Then from June 13-18, Evans will host clinics in 17 cities across the western and southern portions of Utah as well as eastern Nevada, followed by an additional nine cities in the eastern and southeastern portions of Utah over the course of the third and final week (June 20-22). A complete schedule of the Junior Jazz tours is found below.

Indeed a good kid. Hope he works hard and becomes a all star. He is already a fan favorite.
Very smart Jeremy.Always keep your foot in the door.I predict a long career for this young man.
Potentially I believe Evans has the necessary tools to be an "excellent" player in this league and hopefully with the Jazz for many years ahead. Keep working hard Jeremy it will pay off soon.
