High school track: Davis team, Richfield runner take home titles, glory

Although the Darts were the expected 5A winner, Talley still says it took a lot of hard work.

"Coming in we knew we were the favorites, but we also knew it wouldn't be easy," Talley said. "Our boys were really inspired by the girls today. They just fed off of each other."

And then, as if flipping a switch, Talley seemingly thought about next season as he got a serious look on his face and said, "So we'll take the glory and then get right back to work."
