One reporter did sneak in a question about Fredette to coach Ty Corbin a couple of weeks ago, asking if the Jazz would try to "get Jimmer in the mix next year."
Corbin chuckled and said, "We'll see. We have a great staff looking at players who are available and they'll make a determination of whether or not we'll get him."
We've still got a little more than two months until the June 23 draft and a lot could happen. A few more lottery players, such as North Carolina's Harrison Barnes or Colorado's Alec Burks could still declare for the draft before April 24 deadline, perhaps moving Fredette further down the pecking order. Or maybe the Jazz will luck out with the ping pong balls at the May 17 lottery and end up with a Top 3 pick and the opportunity to select someone like Duke guard Kyrie Irving.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.

Fans would love it and if Jimmer can continue develop like he has these past 3 yrs. it would be a great chance to take.
These lotteries and draft picks are all a 'crap shoot' anyway. Jazz won't lose any money on this kid. It would boost More..
As bad as the Jazz have been using first round picks past number 3, they might as well take a shot at Jimmer if available at the 12 spot. As good as he is at shooting the 3 and creating his own shot, its a gamble worth taking for the Jazz.

Gee, is anyone surprised to see BYU-haters chiming in on a Jazz article? Your biases are so pathetic. Gosh, if this was a Ute player you would find very little objection, thus the difference. Pathetic when you think about it.
