Renee L. Brown "Best Mom Ever"

Renee LeCheminant Brown, 85, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, passed through the veil peacefully at home on April 9, 2011.She was born December 10, 1925 in Murray, Utah to Edmund Lionel and Ruth LeCheminant. She was the oldest child of 11 children. Married Stanley E. Brown on October 12, 1945 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An active member of the LDS church, she served in Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society. She also served in the Jordan River Temple. Her greatest joy was her family, spending time with them and always making them laugh. She was a very kind and loving person to all who knew her. She also enjoyed watching the Jazz play, and the companionship of her special dog, Robbie. Survived by her sons, Kenneth S. Brown (Deanna), Calvin B. Brown (Penny); daughters, Roxanne Myers (Pete), and Cynthia Brown. She enjoyed 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and brother. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hewwood LDS Ward, 5643 South 2200 West. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10550 South), and Thursday at the church prior to services from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Online condolences: www.jenkins-soffe.com
