Daniel "Dan" P. North 1987 ~ 2011

HEBER CITY- Daniel North, beloved husband, son, brother, cousin, and uncle returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on April 6th, 2011, where he will find the love and compassion he so willingly gave to others in this life. Dan was born on March 4, 1987 in Provo, UT. Ever kind and gentle, Dan had a soft-spoken, thoughtful demeanor and was a friend to all who knew him. There was not one person who knew Dan who did not love him. Dan loved life and his smile could brighten any day or touch any heart. With such a sweet and tender soul, Dan was often found on the floor with one of his nephews or his beloved dogs quietly playing, giving them his complete undivided attention and love. He will be sorely missed by those who were recipients of this love. Dan graduated from Wasatch High School with high honors and went on to earn a degree from Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Dan met his wife and best friend, Jessica Lambson, whom he loved with all his heart, in 2008, and they were married on July 18, 2009. He was an extremely hard worker who could work circles around anyone. He took great pride in fixing things himself. There was nothing Dan could not do or repair, and though he had many projects of his own, he would always drop what he was doing to help someone else with whatever was needed. Over the past few years, he enjoyed remodeling the home he purchased himself in Heber City where he resided with his wife, three dogs, four cats, and two horses. Dan was a very talented mechanic. He loved working on his cars. He rebuilt several cars and rock crawlers and was currently working on his "baby" - a red Mitsubishi Eclipse. When not fixing one of his cars, he could be found working on the car of a friend or family member. Taking great pride in any task given him, he was always an exemplary employee. His friends and coworkers at Les Schwab held him in the highest regard. We thank them for their kindness during his last day. He possessed a great love of the outdoors, including off-roading, hiking with his wife and dogs, and working with his horse. Dan is survived by his wife, Jessica; parents, Phil and Carla North; sister, Jennifer North; and parents-in-law, Richard and Becky Anderson, Scott and Yeliz Lambson, and Grandma Welch. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael, Grandpa Max, Grandma Betty, Grandpa Welch. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2011, 12 noon in the Midway LDS Stake Center, 165 North Center Street, Midway, Utah. Viewings with the family will be on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service, both at the LDS Church. Interment will follow the services in the Heber City Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.olpinhoopes.com
