Bernice Lyman Together Again

Our loving mother, Ethel Bernice Litchfield Lyman, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Born November 2, 1925 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada to Floyd Oran Litchfield and Ethel Larson. Married to Kenneth Bigler Lyman, September 13, 1950 in the Cardston, Alberta Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Served with her husband in the Texas San Antonio Mission. Dedicated Jordan River Temple worker and served in many other church callings. Mother of sons, Bruce (Vicki), Richard (Danette), Ronald (Gail); daughters, Annette (Jim) Stewart, Lorraine (Steve) DeBry, and Barbara (Alan) Shumway. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Lyman, twins Linda and Larry Lyman, grand-daughter-in-law Kim DeBry and other dear family members. Survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, sisters Mildred Hardy, Marjorie Mulholland, Lorraine Raisor and brother Grant Litchfield. Our deepest gratitude to the caring friends at Canyon Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care and to her kind Sunbrook Hospice caregivers. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011, 11a.m. Midvale East 2nd Ward, 7250 South 300 East.
