Betty LaRue White Demke Richmond "Grandma Betty"

Born, June 21, 1928 to Raymond and Thelma White. She gave her life to Jesus in 1988. Our mother went on the wings of an eagle to meet her Jesus face to face on March 25, 2011. Where there is no more sorrow and no more pain. She graduated from South High School in 1945. She worked for Granite School District where she retired and then was the church secretary at Cornerstone EV Free. Mom was a loving and caring mother, devoted her life to raising her six kids. She loved her LORD, her family, her church and her baby (dog) Sophie. She was very proud being a mother, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma. She enjoyed working in her yard and doing crafts.' Preceded in death, her parents, sister June, brother Thomas, first husband David Demke, second husband Bud Richmond, daughter DeLayne Pedockie, her grandson Todd Dumas and Kiki (her cat of 19 years). Survived by her children: Peggy McCloyn, Sandy (Rick) Fallis, Craig, Trent (Michelle) and Marche' Carton, 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grand-children plus three on the way, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was known as grandma Betty to all. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to Pastor Roger and Pam as well as everyone who blessed her in song and in prayer during her last days. Come celebrate her life with us! Celebration service will be April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 7762 South 700 West, Midvale, Utah 84047.
