Okur has always shown up. He's been probably the most durable Jazzman. The fact that he tried to come back from that injury shows that he has some heart. Don't forget that he tore his achilles AFTER tweaking and deciding to continue playing. Most More..
Sometimes I wonder what Jazz games people watch? Okur can shoot... sometimes. If you look at stats he averaged 1.3ish 3's per game and his averages are garbage. Do you know how many points he has givin up and rebounds and how many times he has sent More..
I am not questioning Okur's heart, but you would have to be crazy not to question his age and/or his ability to contribute meaningful minutes in the future. Time for retirement.
