Betty Agatha Andersen Cummings Hilton 1925 ~ 2011

Dear Friends & Family,I returned to my Heavenly Father on March 7, 2011 after my battle with cancer. I was born February 7, 1925 to Peter and Agatha Andersen in Fairview, UT. I grew up in the Heber Valley attending Wasatch High School where I participated in many activities. I was also Miss Wasatch County and the first Wasatch County Rodeo Queen. I married Jay B Cummings in the Salt Lake Temple and was blessed to have 47 years of marriage and four great children. Ours was an outdoor family that loved the mountains and nature. We taught our family the value of good, hard work. Loved it all! I was blessed with many church callings. I worked at Auerbach's and later at the Motor Vehicle Division. Most of my retirement years were spent in the Heber Valley where Jay passed away in 1990. Married Joseph Hilton in 1991 and together we had a very extended group of family and friends. We traveled to visit them and welcomed them at our home as well. Joe and I enjoyed going south in our motorhome every winter but were always happy to return to Heber. I am survived by my husband Joe and his family, my brother Dean (Renee) Johnson-Heber; and sisters Eva Provost-Heber; Jane (Clift) Jordan-Marion, UT; Lucile Grasser-Arizona; brother-in-law Russell (Nancy) Cummings-Heber; my children Lloyd (Lorraine) Cummings-Draper; Judie Ashworth-Sandy, Jay B (Sarah) Cummings-Heber; 21 grandkids, 57 great-grandkids and three great-great-grandkids. I'm now reunited with loved ones including brothers, husband Jay, and son David. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Sat., March 12th, at the LDS church located at 325 E. 5th N. in Heber City, with a viewing on Friday, March 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 No. Main, and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral on Sat. at the LDS church. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.olpinhoopes.com
