Andrei Kirilenko almost sent the game into overtime with a last-second steal, but missed a close-range, potential game-tying shot.

The Nuggets attempted 33 free throws, compared to just 12 for the Jazz. Denver shot 25 free throws in the fourth quarter alone.

C.J. Miles came off the bench to score a team-high 22 points for the Jazz. Devin Harris had 21 points and nine assists.
