PROVO — BYU's Honor Code Office continued its review Wednesday to determine if Cougar sophomore Brandon Davies will be allowed to remain a student at the school. His status with the basketball team next season is also being decided.
Davies was dismissed from the team Tuesday due to an honor code violation. BYU officials confirmed that while Davies ran afoul of the honor code, he was not involved in any criminal activity.
Davies started 26 of 29 games and averaged 11.1 points and a team-high 6.2 rebounds this season for the No. 3 Cougars.

Knowing Brandon personally I know that the last thing he is looking for is the type of "personal freedom" that you're espousing.
Making a personal commitment to a code of honor isn't restricting, it's More..
Brandon, everyone does things they know they shouldn't. Not everyone steps forward and takes responsibility for what they've done. I, for one, am both sad and pleased; sad for your choice to violate the Honor Code, pleased you stepped forward and More..
It's understandable why Utah fans would be so desperate to get Brandon and Coach Rose to help rebuild their smouldering ash heap up on the hill.
Sorry, you'll just have to spend another year watching Boylen reduce to cinders what's left of More..
