PROVO — BYU leaped from No. 7 to No. 3 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/ESPN coaches polls released Monday morning, just behind No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Kansas, and one spot ahead of No. 4 Duke. The Cougars, who knocked off San Diego State, 80-67, on the road, received five first place votes in the AP poll but none in the coaches poll.
It's the highest ranking BYU has achieved since rising to No. 2 in 1988.
San Diego State fell to No. 9 in both polls while Utah State jumped to No. 21 in the coaches poll. The Aggies were 25th in the AP poll.

I've mentioned this on another article, but I think that up until this weekend, the Mountain West Conference had it in for BYU, and wanted to have them lose. This is why the refereeing has been so one-sided for the past month.
But now More..
#3 is perfect, and with great company too. Ranked between Kansas and Duke is pretty dang sweet.
This year has been so fun for BYU basketball!
Rise and shout!
