ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico upset No. 9 BYU, 86-77, Saturday afternoon at The Pit, snapping the Cougars' 10-game winning streak, in front of a crowd of more than 15,000 Saturday afternoon.

Jubilant Lobo fans rushed the court to celebrate the big victory.

BYU had knocked off No. 4 San Diego State on Wednesday night at the Marriott Center, but UNM was too much for the Cougars.
